Look your best even if you only have a few minutes and a few key products!

You’re a busy mom, always on the go. Your morning routine is quick and efficient, but you want to look your best without spending hours in front of the mirror or breaking the bank on expensive beauty products.

We know how hard it can be to make yourself look good on a busy schedule. That’s why we’ve compiled our top 5 favorite beauty tips for you! Follow these steps and wake up feeling refreshed, youthful, and glowing every day without sacrificing time with your family or career goals.

1. Wake up 20 Minutes Earlier and Drink a Glass of Lemon Water.

Studies show that as little as 10 minutes of meditation and another 10 minutes for a workout can make you happier, more energized, less stressed out – and even give you a glowing complexion. The first 20 minutes you give yourself is the holy grail. And it doesn’t stop there: the long-term effects are better. Your skin will be healthier and more radiant!

To top it all off? Lemon water helps detoxify and hydrate your skin while reducing inflammation and soothing sore muscles post-exercise. You’ll be feeling better than ever with some freshly squeezed lemons every morning!

2. Swap Out Your Old Makeup for Products That Are Hypoallergenic, Gluten-free, and Made From Natural Ingredients.

We’ve all heard of hypoallergenic and naturally sourced makeup, but who knew the importance of using gluten-free makeup? Gluten-free ingredients are rich in antioxidants that work wonders on our skin. Not only do they aid cell turnover for a glowing complexion, but these anti-inflammatory properties also reduce redness or irritation when dealing with conditions such as eczema and rosacea.

If you’re looking for easy, flawless makeup hacks, don’t miss the most important part that livens your face — eyebrows. Just remember to avoid committing common eyebrow mistakes such as overlining them with too dark color which gets in the way of looking youthful. Remember, if your makeup looks natural and not overly done, it can play up all other features on your face.

3. Don’t Forget About SPF!

Unfortunately, many of us have to spend more time indoors than out in the sun. But even when indoors for most or all day long, Dr. Laura Scott says that windows protect us from the burning rays, not the aging rays! Those rays that come in through your windows are harmful and can lead to both skin cancer, as well as aging. It’s important to turn down UV exposure by keeping away from direct sunlight and using sunscreen if necessary so it doesn’t cause premature aging and wrinkles. Protect yourself with SPF 30 or higher, even indoors!

4. Apply a Thin Layer of Shea Butter on Your Eyelashes and Eyebrows at Night.

For an instant eyelift, a good eyebrow and eyelash routine can take your youthful look to the next level. Shea butter is a natural way to make eyebrows and eyelashes thick and full, making you feel like an instant beauty guru!

To use it properly: simply scoop some out of its container with two fingers or a spoon, then gently massage into the desired area- this will soften up any hairs which may be too stubborn for plucking alone. Use an eyebrow brush after applying shea butter as well to smooth down hair that has been flared from using wax before application – voila!

For your eyelashes, massage a small amount of butter between one finger and thumb until it melts. Glide the finger along the top of your eye where your hair is. Do this before bedtime and watch as they have more volume and grow stronger than ever within 4-6 weeks!

You may be wondering if you can use petroleum jelly. It’s a hotly debated topic in the beauty world. While many people use it and believe that there’s nothing better for their skin than this shiny cream-like substance, petroleum can clog pores which may cause acne breakouts and make them worse. Fortunately, shea butter is an excellent petroleum-free alternative because of its moisturizing properties as well as being non-comedogenic — meaning it won’t block your pores!

5. Sleep in Silk Pillowcases.

According to Dr. Debra Jaliman, a dermatologist in New York City, silk pillowcases help prevent wrinkles and fine lines from developing over time. If you’re a vegan looking for a silk pillowcase alternative, Lyocell fabric made from bamboo may be a perfect choice. It is ideal for your skin because they don’t absorb moisture, leaving you looking fresh-faced in the morning. Compared to cotton which can leave sleep lines, these pillowcases provide a smooth surface that is gentle on your face.
