It took me a LONG time to get here in my blog journey and I can honestly say I have finally found my blog home. It’s such a nice feeling!

And, of course, I want THIS feeling for you!

For as long as I can remember, I’ve had a deep rooted interest in helping people achieve things they didn’t think they could.

I’m a nurturer, feeler, empath and try to live my life as authentically as possible. I love to create, write, read and be positive. These are some of the core things that make up my being.

Imagine my frustration when I couldn’t for the life of me figure out what my ‘calling’ or ‘passion’ was. I knew it involved helping people on a pretty big scale, but what the heck was IT?

In January 2016, I found out I was about 5 weeks pregnant with my beautiful daughter, Julia.

My first reaction was shock – not because I didn’t want kids, but because things hadn’t gone according to my plans. Julia was about a year and a half ahead of schedule AND I still hadn’t nailed down what direction I was going to take in my blogging career.

To say Julia gave me a swift kick to get moving is an understatement.

All of a sudden I saw the world differently. I knew I needed to pursue the things in blogging that scared me most – actually having a blog featuring little ol’ me as the main writer.

It was my ultimate dream, but could ‘I’ do it? Would anyone care about what I had to say?

So, instead of diving right in, I hid behind some other more ‘niche’ sites for awhile (OK, for my whole pregnancy and the first few months of Julia’s life). And would read the blogs of very successful bloggers, all doing what I dreamed of doing myself.

We all have that fear don’t we?

The thoughts flood in – ‘maybe no one will care’ or ‘ who am I to write about whatever topic?’ and so we let our fear dictate the actions we take.

Then it hit me – what made these bloggers different from me? They all STARTED at the same place. The beginning. That’s really how simple it is.

They all had to START somewhere.

And so, I paused my ‘niche’ sites. Put them on the shelf and stopped building them. They weren’t my passion or my calling. They were merely a way for me to be present online. But they weren’t what I wanted.

I took some time and really went within myself to figure out how I could incorporate all the things I love into one blog.

And then it hit me – Mom Blog Life.

I’m passionate about being a Momma and nurturing my daughter. I’m passionate about writing and creating and want to put those energies into my blog. I’m passionate about life and designing it on your own terms.

Put those together and you have someone who is passionate to help other Momma’s start a blog of their own, so they can stay home with their babies AND still be creative and not lose themselves.

Once the kids go to school (and even if they’re already in school) you will still have a purpose for your day. You won’t need to worry about ‘falling behind’ in the corporate work world. It won’t matter!

You will be your very own Mom boss!

Mom Blog Life has been born. I want to grow it in a resource for all stay at home Mommas or those who desire to become one.

Yes, you can blog. Yes, you can contribute to the family finances. No, you don’t have to lose yourself because you want to stay home with your babies.

So, let’s build our blog businesses together and talk about everything Momma. Sound good?
